PROJECT REQUIREMENTS:
For this lakefront property high performance, maintenance free products were required with excellent weather sealing, high wind load resistance and energy efficiency.
The project included an oversize 12’ x 12’ window wall with shaped windows and operating casement windows.
 
OUTSTANDING FEATURES:
Optimum Series Casement and Fixed Glass windows were chosen for their strength, quality, durability and weather sealing to meet the structural and design requirements. All had solid 6-5/8” Douglas Fir jamb depths to ensure the strength required to meet high wind loads. Windows feature maintenance free aluminum exterior with baked enamel finish and energy efficient E plus G, Argon gas filled sealed units to contribute to year round comfort. The Low-E coating allows for benefits of passive solar heat while reducing fading of furnishings and carpeting by filtering out a high percentage of ultra violet rays.
